The Torrent features a superbright
Xenon incandescent
light that produces 95
lumens to cut through smoke
and haze when searching a
building or finding a route at
night. A focused narrow and
a focused wide beam combine for maximum versatility. At close range,
the wide beam simulates normal daylight conditions to take advantage of
peripheral vision. The narrow beam creates a long throw spotlight, ideal
for night hiking and search and rescue. The locking switch, which is easy
to use even with gloves on, prevents the light from being turned on by
accident. O-ring seals on the lens cap and switch prevent water leakage,
whether dropped in the river or blasted by a fire hose. Eight AA alkaline
batteries included. Maximum burn time: 30 hours.
