Jim Frank honored at 2011 SPRAT Annual Conference

Three SPRAT (Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians) Charter Members were honored at this year's SPRAT Annual Conference. Jim Frank with CMC Rescue, Steve Hudson with Pigeon Mountain Industries, and Loui McCurley with PMI West were recognized at SPRAT's 2011 Annual Conference in Vancouver. Current SPRAT Board Members Matt Hudson and Scott Mohon presented them with plaques for their ongoing commitment to the organization and to the industry. Star Flight Rescue and CMC Rescue Inc

STAR Flight worked with CMC Rescue to develop the Spider Rig to solve the problem of moving a large amount of people from a hazardous environment in a short amount of time. Whether from rapidly rising water in a flash flood, or from one rooftop to another during a high-rise fire, we needed a safe method to expeditiously move victims with our helicopters.
