Our goal is to be considerate of our environmental footprint without compromising our dedication to safety, quality, and performance.
We aim to create products that endure, so they’re in your cache longer—and not in the landfill. In our manufacturing, packaging and shipping, we couple our ongoing search for new sustainable materials and processes with the choice of materials that contain a significant recycled content. We source paper that uses pulp harvested from forests certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), an independent, non-governmental, not-for-profit organization that promotes responsible management of the world’s forests.
Rescue Box™ Program
In an effort to minimize our environmental impact, we’ve introduced our Rescue Box™ program. As we receive boxes that are clean and reusable, we label them with our Rescue Box label and reuse them to ship orders to our customers. While these boxes may be less than perfect on the outside, they are a symbol of our efforts to lighten our footprint on the earth. So the next time you see a labeled Rescue Box from CMC Rescue, you’ll understand its importance as a vital component of our ongoing commitment to sustainability.
CMC Shirt Sleeve™
Like most companies, we participate in our local recycling programs, but at CMC Rescue, we go the extra mile. To reduce our environmental footprint, we strive to use responsible media for our packaging. Our regular shipping boxes are composed of 60% to 100% pre-consumer recycled content with 100% recycled dunnage. Our packing materials are made with pre-consumer recycled content as well. Both boxes and packing materials are reusable and are 100% recyclable. We strive to reduce our consumption of single-use plastics. So, for example, rather than use plastic to package our T-shirts, we created our own CMC Shirt Sleeve™, a recycled paper sleeve that wraps around the shirt for packaging.
