Anchor straps have a tough job, and see a lot of wear and tear. Over the years, we’ve
learned that cuts and abrasion are the greatest threats to their safety and service life. To
dramatically increase both, our Anchor Straps now feature two layers of the same durable
mil-spec nylon web. Sewn at CMC by the highly skilled workers who make our rescue harnesses,
our Anchor Straps feature forged steel D-rings individually proof loaded and sized
for easy choker (girth-hitch) configuration when desired. Use edge protection when appropriate,
and observe safe carabiner-loading practices to maintain system strength.
